Nice to meet you, this is Luk
I believe the beauty of clay lies in its story and functionality.
My pieces are designed to be part of everyday life, combining usefulness with beauty. Each piece carries the subtle touch of handcrafting, unique glazes, and natural textures that reflect the warmth and individuality of handmade pottery.

I’m Carol, a ceramicist originally from Hong Kong and now based in Bristol. My creative path began with a Fine Art major in drawing, but in 2007 I discovered a deeper connection with clay, the tactile rhythm of shaping, forming, and transforming it by hand. That moment set me firmly on the path of pottery, where I craft pieces that are both functional and expressive.Since then, the potter’s wheel has become my grounding place. Every stage from throwing and shaping to glazing and firing, continues to captivate me, offering both challenge and fulfilment.

Each piece is crafted to bring joy in everyday rituals.
I mainly create tableware — cups, bowls, plates, and teapots — intended for daily use. These are pieces to share meals with, to savour tea from, and to enjoy the small rituals of everyday life. Shape, glaze, and texture are carefully considered so that every item feels unique in the hand.
